Let your voice be heard at one of the Listening Sessions or Tribal Consultations during the 2019 IAC Annual Conference. 

The Intertribal Agriculture Council Annual Conference is the largest gathering of American Indian agriculture producers, Tribal natural resource professionals and USDA service providers.

The 2019 IAC Annual Conference is a three-day event focusing on Native agriculture production, sustainability and conservation. Attendees include Native pre-college and college students, educators, and professionals as well as representatives from Tribal Nations, Tribal enterprises, Native owned businesses, and government partners.

USDA Pre-conference sessions and the 4th Annual Youth Conference, kick off on December 9th.

Consultations and Listening Sessions

Tribal Consultation to discuss the Industrial Hemp Interim Final Rule as provided under the 2018 Farm Bill.

Conference participants are invited to an upcoming tribal consultation to discuss the Industrial Hemp Interim Final Rule as provided under the 2018 Farm Bill.

By hearing your views, information, concerns, suggestions, and interests on this topic, it ensures that USDA better serves Indian Country and fulfills its government-to-government obligation.

National Association of Food Distribution Programs on Indian Reservations Preparatory Session 

 

This is a preparatory session for the Tribal Consultation on FDPIR with USDA. Tribal leaders and/or their staff who are interested in attending that consultation are welcome to join this session to learn more about FDPIR and current topics in consultation.

A block of rooms has been set aside for conference attendees. The rates start at $93/night* + tax, reserve before November 18, 2019.
