Join us on Tuesday, April 21st, 2026, for a Prescribed Fire Field Day hosted by the River Breaks Prescribed Burn Association. This field day will consist of a morning classroom session providing an overview of how prescribed fire can be used as a land management tool, followed by an afternoon in-field session covering fire tools, equipment, and live-fire training during a prescribed burn.

This field day brings together a dynamic collaboration between the Intertribal Agriculture Council’s Natural Resources department, the River Breaks Prescribed Burn Association, Pheasants Forever, South Dakota State University Extension, and The Nature Conservancy.
