Build and Broaden Indigenous Food Sovereignty Symposium & Festival Postpones

Due to increasing pandemic numbers, the Food Sovereignty Symposium & Festival scheduled for September 19-21 is being postponed until late spring 2022. The decision was made after significant deliberation on the potential health risks, as well as the uncertainty over how the situation will continue to evolve over the next month. Protecting our elders and vulnerable populations is our top priority.

Good news – we will be offering a shortened virtual agenda on Monday-Tuesday, September 20-21 as a sampler for the full in-person event next year. Registration for this September virtual program will be no-cost.

We will also be sending additional information to everyone who has registered, giving options for a refund now or maintaining your spot for next spring. We are tentatively aiming for late May.

More information on the September virtual event and confirmed dates for the 2022 in-person event will be available soon.
