Updated: 6 days ago

Our 2024 Annual Report reflects a year of powerful movement across Tribal agriculture—work that laid the foundation for the momentum we carried into 2025.

This report is more than a summary of programs and progress. It carries the stories of producers, leaders, and communities who are rebuilding food systems, strengthening sovereignty, and creating futures rooted in culture and collective resilience.

In 2024, IAC provided technical assistance to more than 800 producers from 300 different Tribes, expanding critical services in policy development, USDA access, natural resource stewardship, marketing, and youth leadership. We were inspired by the unity and innovation across Indian Country. Leaders reminded us that agriculture is not just production; it is identity and self-determination.

From global market access in Canada to on-the-ground food sovereignty projects, each effort reaffirmed the strength of Tribal agriculture. Through policy advocacy, regenerative practices, youth engagement, and cultural harvests, Tribal communities demonstrated what it means to steward land and food with intention.

"What holds us together is our culture, our tradition, our pride, and our family. If we cling to that—we’re unstoppable.” —Marvin Pinnecoose, Southern Ute Indian Tribe, Treasurer

As we look ahead to the coming year, we remain deeply committed to supporting Tribal producers, uplifting Native voices, and advancing sustainable food systems for generations to come.
