New Policy Assistant - Lexi Holden

Lexie joins the Intertribal Agriculture Council on the heels of her year as a Bill Emerson National Hunger Fellow. She is currently working as IAC's Policy Assistant in a part-time capacity, but will be joining the team full-time in early August.

Her passion for agriculture law and policy was fully realized after working with the Native American Agriculture Fund in the first half of her fellowship. While she comes from a long line of farmers and sharecroppers, agriculture had since skipped a few generations in her family, so this will be a year of listening, learning, and serving. Lexie is excited to use her anti-hunger advocacy experience in her work for Native producers at the national level.

Lexie is a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, a graduate of the University of Chicago, and an "Army brat." Though born and raised in Germany, she is so happy to be coming home to Indian Country.

Welcome Lexie!
